Sarasota is the #1 Place to Retire in the US

Van Wezel-soon to be renovated

There is no doubt that when it comes to visiting a beautiful place, Sarasota is synonymous with beauty. From the gorgeous white sandy beaches on Siesta Key to the elegant landscape on Longboat Key. The downtown skyline is breathtaking and the overall lifestyle is the epitome of fine living. There are amazing restaurants and rich culture found in Sarasota. John Ringling was one of the pioneers that helped shape the town. Micheal Saunders, my Broker was the first female to open a real estate office in 1976 on world-renowned St. Armands Circle.

When I first visited Sarasota in 1994, I fell in love! Our first place in Tampa Bay was in West Tampa when my family relocated due to my husband’s new position in downtown Tampa. From the first day, we moved there, we wanted a change of scenery. Every weekend we would take trips south of Tampa to parts of St. Pete, Brandon, and eventually would find Sarasota. I remember the first visit we drove over the old John Ringling bridge and I told my husband we will be living here soon. Now after 26 years, I would not call any other place home. I’m proud to sell Real Estate in Sarasota!
