Despite a slight 4% year-over-year decrease in home sales through June 2025, Lakewood Ranch surpassed its own projections, reflecting robust demand even amidst a 6.6% decline in the broader market for top master-planned communities nationwide.

Laura Cole, Senior Vice President of Lakewood Ranch Communities, attributes this success to the community’s proven track record and consistent stewardship, making it a trusted choice for a diverse range of buyers. The mid-year data also highlights a notable shift towards attached homes, comprising 42% of recent sales—a trend responding to market preferences for more accessible housing options.

For over a decade, Lakewood Ranch has maintained its appeal with 46% open space, 150 miles of trails, and a variety of residential offerings catering to different buyer profiles, including move-up buyers, entry-level homeowners, active adults, and luxury seekers.
