like to invite you to “Run For the Beads” 5K Run/Walk and Mardi Gras
After Party!!! Waterside Place will be our lovely venue on Saturday,
February 18, 2023. The race begins at 8:00 am and the Mardi Gras
Party starts around 9:00. This is a charity event, and we would like to

The community with the largest team gets a prize!!
WE want you to be there to support LWCF! The Mardi Gras After
Party is free! So how can you contribute? How about a sponsorship?

So if you would like to walk or run or…. Just party in Mardi Gras style,
this event is for you! Wear your emerald green, purple and gold and
come join us. Everyone will be wearing and throwing beads!!
We will have prizes for Race and Walk winners, interesting vendors to
visit, New Orleans Style food and drink, carnival entertainment, face
painting by local artists and a pinata for the youngsters!
Our DJ will spin tunes while surprise performers entertain the crowd.
